UPDATE (v1.3)


  • Not 1, not 2, but 4 new bonus levels, for a total of 7
  • Some more easter eggs and hidden rooms/stages. Hidden stages are probably really out-of-place for the game though
  • Some of the easter eggs only rarely show up. They're not supposed to be like jumpscares, but if you don't want such unexpected surprises, you can open the console with Tab and use "settings easteregg 0"
  • The rare easter eggs will not have a chance to show up until you have reached World 3, to ease you in
  • Speaking of which, improvements to the console. More commands, improved commands, more room for the log reports
  • The log is also written to log.txt at the user data folder.
  • At this point I'd maybe just recommend you to check "settings" in the console to see what else you can modify
  • Improved the pause menu. Another setting, now displays the level info and difficulty, another tip, the tip about opening music link doesn't appear when the current track has no link assigned
  • You get your editable player sprites
  • New versions of the level selection ambiances by me
  • Some new pieces of dialogue
  • The final world is more revealing. Added a background resembling a computer circuit, stage 9-5 misses a background, hidden dialogue
  • Each main menu now has a different ground layout
  • The final boss is more animated. Added chomping and sideways blasting animation
  • The game is more strict about save file changing. If something in particular doesn't make sense, it might throw an error
  • Fixed a possible issue where pausing the game for a while during a level may cause it to lag hard and probably crash, as the server object got disabled and repeatedly fails rejoining
  • Fixed an issue where repeating a phase in 8-5 crashes the game, because it was trying to roll back the wrong boss. Changed the code a bit to make sure this won't happen again
  • The ending scene has the same song, but plays the climax instead of the usual part
  • In 5-3, the dark forest platformer, there are now faintly glowing eyes, as if the stage didn't already have enough ominous characters in the background
  • Improvements to the manual document
  • All music is now compressed, reducing the size significantly and leaving more room for new things
  • Run mode checkpoints now use in-game variables to save progress instead of a save file, so it doesn't have to write to the disk anymore
  • Lava blocks have a red glow, making them stand out better against the orange sky
